Network Information

The network currently employed by the Linden LAN is a multi-server structure, based around web, email, network, and backup capabilities. We are currently running three main servers, and are developing on a fourth for more powerful network and data storage capabilities.

File Servers

  • PEN (144.92.198.10)
The primary server for personal storage. This server holds information that you store on your H: drive, as well as your personal web sites. PEN also is the storage container for the Groupwise email system.

  • PEN2 (144.92.35.9)
The primary departmental web server. This server contains all non-personal websites hosted by Linden LAN, including the Plant Pathology, Entomology, and Nutritional Sciences websites.

  • PPATHN1 (144.92.198.254)
The primary storage server for general use, as well as an administrative server. The public-share T: drive is located on this server.

  • PEN3 (working name) (144.92.198.253)
New server currently being structured and built. Currently planned to be the primary server of a new initiative to provide a more expedient backup method for the other three servers.

Web Servers
